Sunday 25th
September
No school again today (it is Sunday after all), only some
small jobs on the boat (a new reading light for Anna) and then we went to the village
for a drink and to order some mangos.
We then went snorkeling; despite a bit of current Anna and
Julia mastered the snorkel very well; only Anna discovered a major problem with
this activity: you can’t really talk with the snorkel in your mouth! So she resorted
to emitting strange whale-like guttural sounds that Julia soon learned to
understand.
Tomorrow the ‘floating’ school opens again; we are ready and
motivated. Only worry in the back of our minds is whether the repair of the
alternator will hold but I guess we better get used to this worry.
